Our ambition, since the very beginning of JOA, has been to create bespoke interiors with a timeless design. We are committed to a long-term approach, grounded in the choice of durable materials and an aesthetic that never grows old.
The real challenge? Standing out without giving in to passing trends. Creating a strong signature while cultivating a timeless design that evolves with you and your interior.
Far from monolithic, rigid furniture, we conceive creations that bring harmony and softness into your spaces. A recognizable style, expressed with subtlety, always guided by the same philosophy: revealing the full potential of your interiors with precision and balance.
The JOA Line: Timeless Design Inspired by Nature
At JOA, timeless design is born from a careful observation of nature. Where contemporary architecture often favors strict, straight lines, we reintroduce curves, diagonals, and movement.

Nature is organic, sinuous, and fluid. We draw from this living matrix to soften volumes, break sharp edges, and create a smoother flow throughout the space.
Our curved lines are never incidental; they are a true guiding thread like the path of a river reshaping the contours of a landscape. Design then becomes both a visual and sensory experience.
The Curve Style: An Ode to Sinuous Lines
Structured around strong horizontal lines in solid wood or steel, the Curve style is organized through slim uprights or closed volumes that balance the composition without excessive rigidity.

Bookcases, TV units, sideboards, and desks unfold into airy compositions, often without backing panels to preserve a sense of lightness. Metal uprights punctuate the space with precision, while drawers and sliding or pivoting doors add functionality and depth.
What makes this style distinctive is its versatility: it can be deeply organic, embracing free-flowing lines, or more minimalist, featuring suspended elements that emphasize openness. The wood–steel combination enhances its character, both warm and contemporary, always within a carefully mastered timeless design.
As you can see, the Curve style allows for a multitude of design possibilities. Its free forms bring a new dynamic to the space, structuring it while elevating its aesthetic.

The Pô Style: Structured Softness
When designing a bespoke kitchen, certain technical constraints must be respected: appliance integration, standardized dimensions, ergonomics. Yet even within this precise framework, it is possible to express a timeless design.

The Pô concept is based on a wooden cabinet body onto which a wood or steel “skin” is applied. This outer layer creates a continuous façade, where openings doors, drawers, niches are shaped with subtlety and precision.
Rather than emphasizing each element with strong vertical lines, Pô favors contours with rounded corners. Cut-out handles blend seamlessly into the overall design and contribute to its fluid shadow lines.
This timeless design is minimalist, yet never cold. Its soft forms reconcile rigor and sensuality. Curved drawers, arched doors, and gently rounded finishes can all be integrated to enhance this sense of flow.

The curved pantry is an iconic feature of this approach. Its large rounded door blends harmoniously into the composition while optimizing storage. It centralizes organization, avoids multiplying furniture pieces, and maintains a clear visual reading of the space.

Like the Curve style, Pô also allows for curved drawers and doors, as well as rounded cladding, to further emphasize fluidity.
Suspensions: Airborne Elegance
Unlike the Curve style, Suspensions are fixed exclusively from above. This principle frees the floor and immediately lightens the perception of the space.

Metal suspensions can also be used as claustra-style room dividers. They structure without enclosing, separate without closing off. Integrated shelves hold books, objects, and decorative elements while allowing light to circulate freely.
This interplay between structure and transparency creates a balanced, contemporary atmosphere. Here, timeless design is expressed through lightness, the ability to organize space without freezing it in place.
Conclusion: One Timeless Vision, Three Expressions
Curve, Pô, Suspensions : three complementary styles, three interpretations of the same timeless design philosophy.
Pô reassures with its more rectilinear and minimalist structure.
Curve captivates with its organic and fluid character.
Suspensions introduce an airy, contemporary dimension.
Together, they form a coherent and evolving vision of bespoke interiors.
At JOA, timeless design is not a trend, it is a commitment. A commitment to creating spaces that age with elegance, adapt to your lifestyle, and continue, day after day, to inspire you.
