Dressing room furniture is often classed as one of the most imposing pieces of furniture in your home. And with good reason: it plays a predominant role in terms of storage and functionality<\/strong>. Yet many people lack storage space in their homes. A corner dressing room therefore seemed a good alternative for increasing storage space while adding curves. <\/p>\n\n

At JOA, our mission is to bring harmony<\/strong> to your furnishings. A corner dressing-room offers the advantage of being able to extend storage beyond a single wall section and gain storage space. To achieve this, we\u2019ve developed a number of aesthetic and functional corner dressing room models that will bring greater visibility to your wardrobes and serenity to your rooms. We\u2019ve also created an innovative range of corner dressing room to suit your budget. <\/p>\n\n

In this article, we\u2019ll explain the advantages of our three different made-to-measure corner dressing room solutions. But first, we\u2019ll tell you how we\u2019ve decided to meet the economic challenges with this new range. <\/p>\n\n

The aim of the corner dressing room range<\/h2>\n\n

In response to rising prices and the difficulties caused by the economic crisis, we have decided to offer a range of corner dressers with more attractive budgets. Our aim is to offer a singular, harmonious piece of furniture with multiple storage and design options<\/strong>. The range is therefore treated with our codes, in particular curves. All this while simplifying the development and production process. <\/p>\n\n

The simplified composition<\/h2>\n\n

The idea is to use melamine-finish wood<\/strong> interior blocks for part of the dressing room. These blocks are covered with either laminated wood<\/strong> or solid bamboo doors<\/strong>. To facilitate production, these basic elements are available in two depths and two widths. Interior storage can be adapted to suit individual needs and habits. <\/p>\n\n

What\u2019s more, depending on the size of your room, we can integrate the desired number of blocks. Wooden clamps can be used to adjust the difference in length. The furniture can extend from wall to wall, or not. You\u2019re free to choose how much storage you want. <\/p>\n\n

Our uniqueness lies in these straight blocks, on the base of which we insert a curved block<\/strong> made entirely of bamboo. It\u2019s made of solid wood and has defined dimensions and interior configuration. <\/p>\n\n

The concept has been subtly designed to accommodate maximum storage space<\/strong>. It features wooden shelves attached to the bottom, as well as a section with adjustable metal shelves. The large curved door gives you a full view of the contents, while remaining easily accessible. It\u2019s designed with a bamboo front and a metal structure. <\/p>\n\n

An attractive design<\/h2>\n\n

In opting for the structures and configurations of this corner dressing room model, we wanted to add the JOA touch. Because setting ourselves apart from the competition is essential if we are to remain consistent with our values. As stated above, the curved block is already an asset <\/strong>on the whole, but we wanted to take things a step further. <\/p>\n\n

That\u2019s why we\u2019ve developed three basic designs to give your dressing room an aesthetic<\/strong> yet functional<\/strong> touch. Our approach has been to bring other functions to the corner dressing room, which sublimate it and give it extra soul. <\/p>\n\n

The three corner dressing room models<\/h2>\n\n

A closed corner dressing room<\/h3>\n\n

The first model is the simplest configuration. Composed of entirely closed volumes<\/strong>, it\u2019s the model of choice for those who want to maximize their storage space<\/strong>. As you can see, it\u2019s up to you to determine the number of blocks you wish to align. <\/p>\n\n

You can also decide whether you want rods, trouser storage, shelves or internal drawers inside the blocks. The integration of an LED light can be useful in dark rooms. <\/p>\n\n

As for finishes, you can choose between white laminate or solid bamboo doors. You can combine the two to bring more contrast to the whole and to match the curved block. The brass handles have been specially developed within JOA to match the rest of our hardware and finishes. <\/p>\n\n

Moreover, the curved section is made entirely of solid bamboo, both the inner box and the outer faces. The result of over ten years\u2019 expertise, this type of furniture is finished down to the smallest detail to ensure its functionality and durability. <\/p>\n\n

Niche integration<\/h3>\n\n

Then, for those who want to add a little life<\/strong> to their dressing room and not just be satisfied with a storage space, we have the solution. <\/p>\n\n

Rather than closing off the entire corner dressing room, we\u2019ve developed a pedestal that integrates perfectly into the continuity of the curved unit. This consists of three drawers at the bottom, a niche and a double door at the top. <\/p>\n\n

The purpose of this open niche is to accommodate suspended shelves, allowing it to be used as a small bookcase. The ideal place to integrate a light source or valuable objects that will add character<\/strong> to your room. <\/p>\n\n

Without compromising too much on storage space, this niche adds volume to the whole while energizing the corner dressing room. A must for a bedroom lacking in decoration. <\/p>\n\n

Alcove integration<\/h3>\n\n

The third type of corner dressing room is the alcove. This corner dressing room has a subtle effect: it creates an optical illusion and depth<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n

If your room is small, the mirror will reflect the room\u2019s light and thus visually enlarge the room. The alcove block is an all-bamboo structure with side shelves and a face that takes the shape of an alcove. <\/p>\n\n

It\u2019s a fairly simple structure, which can be attached to the curved block on the one hand, and to a closed block on the other. Its shelves are not directly visible when viewed from the front, but you can make them out the closer you get to them. They can hold shoes, clothes or books. <\/p>\n\n

Here again, with the integration of a led ribbon, we can create a beautiful atmosphere that will bring a dynamic<\/strong> to the whole. <\/p>\n\n

As you can see, even with defined cabinet dimensions, there are still many configuration and design possibilities.<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n
