We don’t automatically associate custom design with the bathroom. And yet, it is often in these spaces that every detail counts — particularly when space is limited and requires careful thought to realize its full potential.
A custom-designed bathroom in a small space in Schaerbeek
In this made-to-measure bathroom design in Schaerbeek, space was limited and the design was approached holistically.
One of the most remarkable features is undoubtedly the arched door. Subtle and elegant, it conceals the toilet whilst blending seamlessly with the rest of the furniture. This interplay of curved lines brings a real visual softness and harmoniously guides movement through the room.

Storage has been subtly integrated, hidden within niches that only reveal themselves as you approach the mirror. This design choice lightens the overall feel and preserves, from the very first glance, a refined aesthetic.

The wood — solid bamboo — adds warmth to the atmosphere. Its texture and natural tones create a soothing, almost enveloping ambience. And contrary to popular belief, it is perfectly suited to a bathroom: carefully treated with the appropriate products, it offers long-lasting resistance to humidity and retains its beauty over time.
The beige-colored steel, meanwhile, is discreetly integrated into the upper section of the unit, always shaped in curves to soften its presence. The layering of planes, between the recessed mirror and the steel structure in the foreground, adds depth and dimension to the whole.
Finally, the rounded switches and sockets were also carefully selected to integrate perfectly into the project.
The result: an optimized bathroom designed for fluid use
In this bathroom, every detail has been carefully considered. Designed for ease of use, the curves contribute to a soft, harmonious atmosphere, while high-quality materials add an extra touch of character to the space.

FAQ :
1. Why choose a custom-made bathroom rather than a standard model?
To perfectly tailor the layout to your needs, optimize every corner, and achieve a unique result that is consistent with your interior.
2. Is solid wood suitable for a humid bathroom?
Yes, provided it is properly treated. Species such as solid bamboo, when treated with appropriate products, offer excellent resistance to humidity while adding warmth and a natural touch.
3. Do curved shapes offer advantages beyond aesthetics?
Yes, they improve circulation within the space, soften volumes, and contribute to a more soothing atmosphere.
4. Is it possible to customize every element of the project?
Absolutely. From the choice of materials and finishes to shapes and accessories, everything can be tailored.
5. What are the steps involved in designing and creating a custom bathroom project?
It all begins with an initial meeting at the showroom to understand your expectations. Our creative designers then visit your home to immerse themselves in your interior and analyze exactly how you intend to use each space and storage area, in order to propose a project fully aligned with your needs. A 3D model is then presented before we begin manufacturing your furniture in our workshop in Braine-l’Alleud. Installation is carried out by our experienced carpenters.
6. What budget should be planned for a custom-made bathroom?
The budget depends on the materials, finishes, and level of customization. A meeting at the showroom will allow you to discuss this in detail with our creative designers.
